Foundational Technique
At the Beginner level, students focus on mastering the right posture and placement of the head, arms and legs. Basic terminology (e.g., plié, tendu, dégagé, battement) is introduced at the barre, center, and in jumps. These foundational skills help develop their physique and sets the stage for future progress in ballet.
Clear instructions
Clear instructions are a key element of our Adult Ballet class, ensuring that every student understands each movement and concept. We break down steps and terminology into manageable pieces, offering detailed explanations and demonstrations to guide you through proper technique.
Stretch and condition
Proper ballet training include floor exercises that focus on developing core strength and flexibility. These exercises include various types of stretches and strength-building drills that help dancers achieve the high level of physical fitness required for ballet. Beginner-friendly exercises will be taught at a comfortable pace, no matter your fitness level.
Small class size
With fewer people in the class, the instructor can closely monitor your technique, offer tailored corrections, and answer any questions you may have. This intimate setting creates a supportive, encouraging environment where you can progress at your own pace and feel more connected to the class.
